Juanes: "Historia de Juan" -Global Competency Lesson

Take a cloze activity of Juanes' song "Historia de Juan" and extend it further into an exploration of the social justice issue of youth homelessness in Latin America, and the organizations fighting to end it. Students develop global competency in the process. This lesson includes: a template of standards, objectives, and activities. The cloze activity and teacher tip sheet, student reflection questions and teacher tips, and an investigative task sheet and teacher tips. Further extension activity ideas are included in the lesson template!
